I suspect the driver would much prefer a nice little chat with the youths.

Well at least we know that anyone who does such a thing has a good chance of getting away with it.

They even have friends up high.

unbelievable , dundee like all other citys is expierencing moronic behavior
but not on this scale , this week alone i have a front and rear dent one a stone the other a bottle both youngsters standing on a street with nothing better to do, often when the culprit is caught he is under age and therefore
gets off scot free,a few years ago dundee had a major problem with a housing scheme called kirkton all taxis were bricked private cars were burnt etc by young persons it got so bad the council cancelled the nightime bus service, due to bricks being thrown through windows, the worst hit were the drug dealers and the nightly drinkers who couldnt get a taxi to go into the area, once some names were spread around things changed ,and its still like that today the main crud in dundee who deal and inflict violence know that if they asault any dundee taxi driver they will never get another cab again ,it is the same with pubs any hassle nobody get a taxi, the result the drinkers choose a pub they can get a taxi home,if all the taxi offices in any given area started naming the troublemakers regardless of age things would change, just say an idividual johny x as the court would say was too young to be prosecuted
caused a lot of mahyem the cabbies could get together and refuse to pick up or drop off in the area because of johny x it wouldnt take long for the scum to reconise who johny x was and regardless of age things would be sorted, dundee has only one problem flyover the millomains fintry ,this has expierenced some brick, tyres ,being dropped onto a carridgeway caryng a large amount of motorists, but less than a quarter of a mile away there is another flyover in mid craigie once the most notoriest of schemes has no trouble at all, the reason twenty foot from the flyover is a pub ,the pub is run under strict rules no hassle to the neighbours no hassle to the taxis who bring in and pick up customers or else , so im told, the result a busy pub customers getting home when they want and basicly more control than any court could impose may not seem like evreyones choice but it does work in this case, its maybe like our buisness in some areas you are regulated ie cross the line and you are punished and in others its open city do what you want>
