Hi,

I want to do an oil change on my old fairway. Should I be using 15w40 mineral oil? How many litres is required? Any recommendations as to what brand oil to buy? Thanks

I think the Nissan recommendation is 10w40, so the 15w40 should be OK.

A 15W40 oil meeting any of those specifications should be OK.

An oil suitable for diesel engines as diesel lube oil has ash and acid neutralising properties

Don't put cheap oil in, go for the branded stuff. Cheap oil is reclaimed oil from garages. Always use branded,
