The new Octavia 1.7litre diesel with DSG 7 speed box that does 60mpg. Leased through Amber Vehicle Solutions in Stockport.

have you checked that MPG?....brim-brim and clock the mileage between

dont accept the dash computer as ver batim

the average on DeMonitor is 43mpg :oops:

No it's just fords own box, not a DSG, but not a bad box according to what I have heard of

doubt it, unless its got the final drive of a lakester, and 500bhp to pull it

speaking of shhhhhkodas, i sat in an Octavia 59 plate today and got out quick, one feel of the gearlever linkage movement made me glad to get back in El Mondeo....

are they all that clunky?

No gear linkage on my Skoda. The car computer give MPGs for the latest trip, since last fill-up, and overall average since new; that is the 60mpg figure! Done 4500 miles so far since the start of August, and the only airport run it does is to Lydd, 4 miles out of town!!
