Ive been using the local corner shop to get my change but the owner seems to be getting annoyed. So where does everyone go to get their change?

I have never needed any change since my first week. I have always kept enough back from my takings.

I thought about nobles amusements as they usually have the machines that change notes into pounds. And the idea with the coppers is a good one.

Asda or Tesco self serve. £20 for 50p water, use the £10 for 38p chewing gum, voila two fivers and 8 nuggets. simples.

Keep back and don't spend the 50p, 20p and 10p coins you receive. The amount of these coins you receive should be greater than, the people who expect these coins in return as change.

If I don't have any change I usually tell the customer before we start the journey, I quite happily tell them whatever they give me is what I'm keeping, they either give me change or divert to a shop/garage to get some. There's nothing more annoying then a £20 for a rtfc :D

Believe it or not, giving change is a courtesy. There is no legal obligation to do so

Many buses, where you just put your fare in the machine, have signs that say "no change given". Or signs saying "exact fare only, no change given".
