its not bad for breaking the law

What isn't bad a weeks ban or 50/60 fine. What do they do in your borough if caught smoking

Commitee, tonight have given, different drivers, hack and PH, between 1 and 4 weeks ban, how bad is that. Under the nation smoke legislation, it's a max fine of 200

harsh for a civil offence, buts that's what happens in a trade of individuals.

Without the full details, it is hard to know if it is bad. Some may have been caught before. Hopefully the punishment will get the message home to the rest of the drivers so they don't put themselves in the same position. They can always take it to the magistrates court if they want to appeal.

More so the ones who get the perk of a car that they can treat as their own, technically it's a Works vehicle even if they can run it for their own use at other times.

Indeed, and I wonder if they do get caught and fined, they then get suspended from work for 4 weeks?

They need to make their mind up though, what they are doing there drivers under, they say its their local law, so they can do what they want, but right at the end of one of the hearings the chair and legal both said national law over rules local, so if that's the case shouldn't it be a max of 200 fine. I know 1 person is deffo taking it to magistrates

That is your opinion. Personally, I don't think it is long enough.
