Which would you go for and why? Manual or Automatic?

what would be your other option

Dual shift gears, it's the daddy of all Auto boxes giving you over 50MPG. Change the box oil every 40-50,000 miles and it will run and run.

My Octavia diesel with DSG has been reported doing over 70 mpg and on another run recently 88.7mpg!

why make yourself more work changing gear when the car will do it for you?

so a skoda superb but not an octavia? and diesel but not petrol?

If it takes you as long to get a car as it takes to get an insurance quote the worlds oil reserves will be exhausted..

Well I have my taxi test at the end of November. Then the medicals and the other tests after which the I get my badge. That's when I start with the car and insurance....
