i had an accident this morning. Went into the back of a peugoet 307!!! my front light glass broken. His rear bumper broken.

He doesnt have any injuries. Nor the passenger he had with him. The driver seemed like a nice guy so lets hope he sticks to his word.

Ive already asked him if he is ok with getting repairs to the car and not getting the insurance companies involved to which he said yes. Will discuss more with him tonight.
Again I hope he sticks to his word!

now that i am thinking about it, considering that the only damage to my car is a broken front light glass, i dont think it could have written off his back bumper. What do you think?

If you start to quible over the repairs he might think twice about not going through his insurers

if he reports to HIS insurers and you dont report to yours you may be in breach of your policy

what year/model of car was his, a Mk1 Mondeo or a Bugatti Veyron?

if its smashed his rear bumper the bill could be £500 (new bumper, paint and fit, vat labour £100/hour) or more if he takes to an approved repairer and if it were me thats exactly what id do, also, you cant tell if its buckled anything underneath (even a bit) till its inspected, then it starts getting expensive

your policy holder may have problems too
