Is it getting to be silly season or what the number of customers phoning up trying to negotiate charity rates and the sad fact is many of outr competitors are doing them

Last night had someone phone up wanting a taxi at 02.30 in the morniong to St neots 36 miles away they had apparently already been quoted £45 by 1,3,5 sweetie shop cabs another one of spaceshuttle ones charity prices that her drivers who pay her £80 a week board rent have to endure no wonder half of them switch their radios off and work the rank on a Saturday night

Tonight I had someone phone me up wanting one from Long Clawson the other side of Melton back to Stamford I offered him a best price of £40 but he was insisting he would only pay £30 and then said it was for half past midnight the sad thing is someone will do him that price !!!

You should have contacted me and we could have had a deal because I have a 01.30 from Stamford back to Melton.
