Firstly i knew the dress code before i joined and i agree with them

Only 2 firms in blackpool of any note now one of which im a shareholder of nothing worse than scruffy drivers

@ Tangarinearmy - what % do you own?

@ bart - cab firms may be ten a penny where you are but they aren't where I am and one of the biggest gripes from customers is how scruffy drivers can be. Drivers do not rule the roost they couldn't organise a p*ss up in a brewery ffs. That said it should be a team effort from everybody who plans to make a living from a circuit. May I suggest you use your satnav to find your brains :roll:

In answer to the question of what shoes do I wear whilst working, black trainers that look like shoes.

Clarks shoes every time, wouldn't buy nowt else, Lightweight Casual shoes with a rounded heel to make driving easier.

Feckin hell are you driving a taxi or a sherman tank ! Get yourself to shoemarket and get a pair of 5 quid shoes,ill stick with comfy trainers.Maybe if they start drafting us to war ill get a pair of magnums :lol:

I'd say I wore them for around 5 years in my previous job (outdoor manual work) and then the last ten cabbing, but I wear them when not driving as well.

There's a set of industrial odour eaters in them, not even the slightest pong since the day I've had them :P
