A chap got off of the train in our town yesterday. He asked the first driver on the rank to take him to Gaddesby Lane. Simple enough except that we have 4 different Gaddesby Lanes and they all lead off of the main road to Leicester. The only other information that the chap had was that it was a farm and the post code. Now can anyone tell me where he wanted to go?
The answer for the driver was quite simple. He entered the post code in his sat nav and was immediatly able to take the chap exactly where he wanted to go. Thank you sat nav.

That's the problem these days, so many people expect you to know the post codes of everywhere. I don't use satnav as I haven't got one, and don't intend getting one.

Nothing like a shameless plug.............

I have nothing to do with CD Slot Mount I guess the word BRITISH is the problem you have the best of luck with your own independence vote.

Of course you don't. :---)

It's just pure coincidence that someone who calls themselves "design" should join a taxi website at 11.30pm on a Sunday night and their first post, not half an hour later, is to praise a Bath taxi driver for using a superb new mount for his satnav, which nobody has actually heard of before.
Curiously on a thread about Bath council banning him and his colleagues from using satnavs.

I have no problem with the word British. Britain is a lovely island - especially the Northern bit. :D
I wonder where on the island you make these things though?

You wouldn't be wrapping tuppence ha'penny worth of Chinese or Indian plastic in the Union Jack and selling it for a tenner now, would you? :-k [-X

Another shameless plug
Wouldn't a UK web addy be more in keeping with your British angle?

BTW why didn't you just start a new thread to plug this, instead of disrupting an existing thread?
I doubt I'd even have commented on it.

Clearly your cage has been rattled I thought this product was a great idea removing the Sat Nav away from the windscreen giving a clear road vision.

The CD Slot mount "at the risk of repeating myself" I have no connection with this UK made product which I am more than pleased to shout about any new innovative home grown United Kingdom innovation.

I imagine you are a hoot at a dinner party and guess you have a Scottish independence duvet to snuggle under when you dream of a future for yourself without the bottom half of Britain.

BTW Ramming your SCOTTISH INDEPENDENCE web links complete with flag onto every forum post you make speaks volumes. Get a life comes to mind but I know it is lost on you...

From a man who's infatuated with a silly bit of plastic that he doesn't actually have anything to do with?
If that's true, you're the one in need of a life.

They work in cases like that, drivers using them to find their way around is a no no IMO.

Rumour has it the luddite approach of Bath Council is to continue with a ban on the internal combustion engine.

I've come to the conclusion that if I'm not going to read what you write I shouldn't post about it
