A Rossendale Taxi (Hackney) is working on a Bolton P/H circuit. How can that be allowed?

Because the law is 184 years old, and Rossendale council are only interested in licensing fees to keep lazy clueless officials in work, and snakey bas**** operators in Bolton have to stoop to getting outside vehicles to feed their fat guts.

Does that clear it up?

The P/H rules in Bolton state that a P/H booking has to be fulfilled by a P/H vehicle and P/H driver. So with that in mind no hackney should be working on a P/H circuit regardless of where the Hackney plate is issued.

Bolton can have as many rules as they like, however case law trumps council rules.

The law is sadly on the side of fat guts.
