You don't know what she was doing there.
I worked as a machinist many years ago so I didn't actually have a wedding ring at that time. I left engineering for a while and so I bought a wedding ring. The first day back as a machinist I got the ring caught on a bit of swarf and I received a bad cut. The ring came off and I have never worn one since.

You were a machinist, something tells this "lady" (at 11pm in the location stated) wasnt operating a lathe

IPC to Finsbury park Friday night, 23.00hrs.... nope, cant imagine a 3 jaw chuck or surface grinder at either address

Possibly, but not using the same lubricant....

she may have experience of a boring machine or shaft balancing
