Nothing is guaranteed. Even in your world. 8)

So the Union is a corrupt pile... but you want to have your own corrupt pile... and you expect things to be different. #-o

Gusmac, don't you realise the Scots would vote for Independence in a heartbeat, if we could all see how the wealthy elite and their pet politicians could be reigned in, but you appear to want more of the same and that's the problem.

I honestly don't know what you think you are voting to change.

Oh and Gusmac, it's simply not good enough to shout independence at the top of your voice and then hope that something might get better in the future. It's fu*king madness. #-o

Gusmac, people like you appear to be hell-bent on voting in the tartan right-wing version of what we already have with the Union, and somehow, you expect things to turn out for the better. #-o

Nature abhors a vacuum and with independence, there is even less to fill it north of the border. Salmond and Co. will go power mad. Oh and they have already started with the courts and police powers. #-o

All these little Tartan people will disappear when the [edited by admin] hits the fan. #-o

In principle, I am not against Independence, but neither am I for giving the hard right, free reign to make it happen. Voting for Independence under the present circumstances makes a mockery of your left-wing politics, Gusmac. It's an old cliche but this makes you a Tartan Tory and more confused than scooby-doo. #-o

Oh and Gusmac, as a supporter of left-wing politics shouldn't you be pushing your own version of Independence instead of voting for their right-wing party manifesto, or is it your plan to rise up and take over once independence has been achieved? #-o #-o

Oh and Gus, what's the relevance of the link?

You are here to promote the right wing union Skull and denegrate anyone who wants to destroy it.
It's an old strategy from unionists. They don't defend their beloved union because basically it's shite and indefensible. Totally ignores the obvious which is that the UK is right wing and going further to the right every day.

Instead they portray the supporters of independence as right wing fascists and assert that it will end up as a fascist police state.
Never mind that Scotland votes overwhelmingly for left leaning parties and has done so for donkey's years. Most independence supporters are left of centre in their views (just look at who supports independence and who supports the union).

Won't vote yes because Scotland might end up a right wing dictatorship, yet ignores the fact that a no vote will leave Scotland in the hands of a hostile right wing regime in Westminster (regardless of which brand of Tories are running it).

In short Skull, it's a crock. 8)

No. That is simply bullshit.

I agree, the UK is right-wing and more so every day. Oh and I have never tried to defend the Union, it's all in your imagination.

No. I am not portraying you as a right-wing fascist, but you are a confused lefty that supports right-wing policies.

Are you honestly claiming that Salmond, MacAskill, Sturgeon and Co. are left leaning or left of centre?

To be honest Gusmac, if you said, "vote for independence in the hope there is some sort of political revolt or uprising against the right." I would say that makes sense. However, don't tell me that I am voting for an independent country run by a left-wing government because that is complete bollocks.

Now answer the one question in my response I have asked?

Are you honestly claiming that Salmond, MacAskill, Sturgeon and Co. are left leaning or left of centre?
