It is also contrary to the law

And that was my point. Muslims should give a written undertaking to carry guide dogs when applying for their licence. And if they have an issue with doing so, bye bye... :-|

Yeah, after the fact, they've been granted the licence and failed to honour the said conditions. Prevention rather than cure you might say. Isn't it the job of the LA to stop people who are unsuitable for getting a licence in the first place? And that was my other point. The LA is dodging the real issue of the incompatibility of driving a taxi/ph with being a part of the Islamic faith.

Sussex, for some strange reason I feel compelled to rip the pi*s out of you. #-o I need to ask about your Sky Daddy and when was the last time he answered your prayers? #-o #-o #-o

I have a deep hostility against all faiths but Islam in-particular. I think it is the most pernicious of all faith-based beliefs. If it were up to me, I would stick all these religious nutters on an island and Nuke the fu*king lot of them. Don't get me wrong, if you want to believe in fairy stories, that is up to you, but I don't want to hear about it being used in justification for killing people or refusing blind people a taxi for that matter.

As for refusing guide dogs, if you do the research, you will see that, in most cases, it is faith-based. :-|

My reading of that is then, that devout atheism allows you to kill many with a nuclear device, but those theists (of whatever persuasion) are precluded, even with justification? My underlining is for clarity of my position on your statement.......

You can do what you see fit, but I couldn't care less.

For my sins I'm a very laxed type, and only attend church when someone has died, got married or gets christened. Nevertheless on my census form and council forms I put christian, and I don't get concerns about doing so.

As for your question, well tell us what was before the big bang then.

I'm certain that some muslims, many on religious grounds, hate taking dogs, but like everyone else have no choice in respect of assistance dogs.

So one refused to carry a dog on religious grounds, while 1000's run off-licence's ....

So what about Aliens, Chemtrails, 9/11 and the great spaghetti monster that fly's around the Universe? #-o #-o #-o #-o Oh and you do realise that this is the 21st Century, and we have a thing called Science, to explain the natural world. #-o

We no longer rely one bronze age books and people making up stories about speaking to God, or pointing to meteorites streaking across the sky as some sort of biblical prophecy.

Oh and as for the big bang, there are a few theories, but this is when you go down the quantum physics route of singularities and the like, but I can tell you for defo, it wasn't a God. The Sky Daddy is just a figment of mans imagination, a wee bit like Harry Potter, the Bible and the Koran. It's a lot of superstitious, supernatural nonsense. #-o #-o #-o #-o

Deary me Sussex, I didn't expect this from you.... #-o

It was science and not God that found MH 370. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Saying that, what was stopping, our all seeing, all knowing, omnipotent God, from sticking a pin in the map just to help us out? #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o Oh I know, it's a bigger plan... #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o He's testing us... A wee bit like he did with the Dinosaurs, the fossil record and DNA ... #-o #-o #-o #-o

Isn't that right, Sussex...

Science is a system of study using observation and experiment. I don't think it can be described as a belief system, as it is based on reason and logic. :?

I'm not too sure what you expected or what I have given. :?

But I'm more than happy not to be an atheist, cos the ones I know are a right miserable bunch of saddo's.
