Depends how long you work, if you go over that and something happens you'll be in the brown stuff.

i know. But as someone whos never driven before its kinda of hard to estimate. Most insurers are telling me 30-40k is probably a good number for starters!

I'd say any cabbie doing 40k miles a year is working excessive hours and probably taking home less than someone who does about 25k miles a year.

My mate does around 80K miles a year and probably takes home less than me on my 30K miles. Yes I have told him he is an idiot.

he knew everything before he bought a car ( we explained him what's going on)... and now he's upset coz insurance is expensive.... mate, i'm depressed. i came to this island 7 yrs ago after two weeks of living here i passed my tests and had a licence, 8 months on company car then bought one of company fleet cars(the oldest one coz was cheaper) knowing how much they want to insure her. had an experience and own (licenced car) and then started as a proper owner driver. you spent all this time i spent to make me better on asking whoever they are to ask even more obvious questions. and poeple in this country are wondering why so many people are comming in.... coz they've brains...

Errr no. Im not upset due to the high insurance. I already knew it was going to be expensive. I said the insurance is going to kill me!!! It was term of expression. Of course I am going to pay it. Have a sense of humour dude!!!
Thank you for your life story btw.

20% deposit and the rest over 10 payments

20% interest on top

so

£4000 = to pay £5000, £1000 deposit and 10 x £500 a month, plus base rent £500 a month, plus fuel, plus repairs

take £1500 a month to start earning a wage then

Taxi insurance is (like courier insurance) a specialised market (i.e. we get robbed, my cover for private use £335 for PH use £900, same car/driver/mileage....

Yes Aviva may underwrite H&R but through specialist brokers like Taxi Direct, but never through standard quote engines
