As per advice of Trading Standards, Im sending this to the company!

To whom it may concern,
Further to the investigations carried out by Mr Sxxx regarding the misselling of the Taxi Private Hire policy, I am writing to let you know that I will now be passing the details of your investigation (received until now) along with all evidences I have in my possession for my case to the Financial Ombudsman. This letter is a result of payments taken from my account
Please note the evidence that will be passed on to the FO:
Initial Quote (reflecting the policy being taken out as “Comprehensive”)
Final Quote (reflecting the policy being taken out as “Comprehensive”)
Details of the policy taken out.
MP3 recording
Details of contact with Trading standards i.e Breach of contract by yourselves xxx.
Details of contact with xx Finance
Details of contact with xx Bank.
Miscellaneous

Please note I am sending this letter to you as a letter to you as a last resort as I still feel my position is correct regarding this issue. A response to this correspondence in the next 7 working days would be greatly appreciated.
Many Regards
Jman

I hope that you told them that the 7 days is all they have before you take action. Don't let them mess you around. It is your money in their bank account. Actually you could tell them that if they haven't re-payed the money within the 7 days, you will be charging them interest on a daily basis.

Insurers are always 20 times slower handing money over than snatching it

Okay, so once the insurance saga has resolved itself, the next thing is your accident excess, if you have a bump and with you paying a BIG note a week, for Fully Comprehensive Insurance. I would imagine that you'll have to sell your first born to pay for it.

So let's here it, how much is your excess? 8-[

Do not pin your hopes too highly on the Financial Ombudsman ! I have an on going case at the moment, basically if justice were to be served the other side is nailed. However I believe that they are there to serve big business and keep on finding favour with the other side........they are not as impartial as they would like to make out - plenty of complaints on the net

If i was you JMan,

I would try getting a personal loan for your insurance! it probably work out cheaper the interest than the interest of the insurance company and there's no deposit!.. or use your 1k that you would use for your deposit and get a loan for 1k less than the insurance quote.

Or if you can get a high credit on your credit card's there's some deals out there with 12 or 18 months free interest.

Well if thats the case then there are other avenues. Im sure any lawyer would love to have a pop at them for misselling me insurance. Makes you think how many others they have probably done this to who have just dropped their pants and taken it. Then theres social media. Watchdog. etc

Lets see where this goes!

You are a liar. [-X You "don't have anything against talking" to me but you won't answer my questions directly relating to a topic that you put up for debate. [-X Oh and please spare me this religion of peace and friendship nonsense. #-o

Oh and "time and a place" in your dreams... :---)
