It will be interesting to see as to how the European voting goes in the next few days - I wonder if they are as p!ssed off as we are. Brussels will probably bring a law in saying that we cannot vote them out

A sensible comment from a UKIP candidate in Ebbw Vale.....

Quote:
Mr Gill argues that accusations that Ukip are racist have backfired, because it implied that voters who were worried about immigration were also racists.

He said: “They chose to attack us rather than speaking up for the working class people”.

It is basically an attempt by the PC brigade to stop realistic free speech. Look at it this way - If I said the bus is overflowing with passengers and it would not be safe to let any more on just because another dozen or so from an Asian country are used to travelling on the roof........does that make me a racist? A vehicle of any type can only take so much........the U.K is creaking!

The UK has creaked enough and it's about to sink.

Van Rumpoy will no doubt be debate with the legal people so we can't vote to come out of the EU. Have you noticed how the press have blanked reports coming from Brussels about the riots??

It's quite nice to see them taking voters from all.

One big loser on the night, IMO, is Red Ed.

Red Ed?
The man isn't even remotely pink.
In Thatcher's government, he wouldn't have been left enough to make a tory wet.

Van Rumpoy will be too busy with the TTIP agreement. Strange Ukip haven't made more political capital out of what is a very clear threat to national sovereignty.

Maybe it's to complicated for them or maybe they just don't want to [edited by admin] off their big money backers? :-"

I will tell you what, it looks like UKIP have kicked ass... They've definitely tapped into a groundswell of people, disenfranchised with current political setup. =D> =D> =D> =D>

Oh and I don't support UKIP, but credit where it's due. =D> =D> =D> =D>

I see that you know how to do spin #-o Labour has had an ar$e kicking, for the time of the due election they should have a clear mandate :-k.......they clearly do not, and the ball is rolling.

UKIP clearly have ridden the false allegations that others have tried to smear them with - the Nation speaks - the earthquake has happened - other parties are bricking it

It shows that people want change and are sometimes desperate for it, hence the BNP................NO mention of the BNP this time around =D> =D> =D>

Grandad I feel that you are missing the point completely.

If I wanted to complain about a problem in your company - would I get a result by complaining to an employee i.e a taxi driver? Or do you not think that it is best to go to the people who actually own/run the company?

To make the point clearer, the majority of people at this stage could not give a stuff about who runs the council - the majority are letting the BOSS know............we are not f%c^ing happy, this is letting the boss know you are on your way out.

If the country was run better the Councils would be getting their funding - no point in f%c^ing the Council at this stage.....but the BOSS is a much bigger fish who has a bloody big hook in his mouth.

Watch the goodies and a MORE miraculous economic recovery between now and the next election.........I would not be surprised at all if they manage to pay off the national debt between now and then

P.S. just to clarify...........not at all bothered with actual council results - the pundits are saying the same, look at the overall bigger picture!

You won't answer the question then, that doesn't surprise me.

It has been answered but not in the manner that you are looking for. This particular vote in the eyes of most people is about the next parliament/meps, as such you do not get a true reflection on elected Councils, thus making your question irrelevant.

The facts are that UKIP have rocked all the other parties back on their heels..........that will do for me. It wil be more interesting to see the Euro vote from ALL the Euro countries as I feel that it is more about that than any tin pot Council.

The facts are that they won a few seats on some councils. They do not have control of any councils at all and they will just end up being marginalised and ignored.
