So its YOUR fault the bits fell off then?

I made the tooling that was used to make the parts. I never fitted any parts to cars. As far as i am aware our parts were OK.

British car factories had more strikes than holidays, they created a 3 day working week

There was only one strike at our plant. It was for 1 day. Being the big union man I am, along with a few other "strikers" we went for a round of golf. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

It's not fair on employers to have to pay a pro rata amount of overtime on top of standard holiday pay rates, those that worked the overtime already gained financially from those extra hours they worked.

If your on holiday that's it, In reality a regular 40 hour week+20 Extra hours a week overtime worker is actually benefiting from 60hours Holiday per week as compared the standard 40 hour per week non overtime worker, That's 50% Extra holidays ...Ain't that enough for them.

These Erseholes that try and kill Industry and Business through such daft regulation will eventually succeed, one day soon their will be no employers just 100s of Millions of people across Europe starving and with no Benefits to fall back on simply because their will be no employers or employees left to pay for a Benefits system, a problem which will increase massively as the Migrants fleeing the third world swamp us and add to the burden.

Self Strangulation administered by over paid bureaucrats that cant see how the real world works from the lofty perches of their Guilded cages. :?

funny that those workers now produce in this country BMW's Rolls Royce's Bentley's Nissans Honda's Peugeots etc

Perhaps the management in previous years and just maybe the RUST RIDDEN PRODUCTS had something to with the collapse of the British Car industry

Allegro Marina Princess 1100 1800 Mini" A 55 Cambridge" i had one ffs all bleedin crap that rusted within 2 years.

British design is top quality the workers the best in the world British management fekking CRAP

The difference is that the unions know that they (The overseas brit-based car builders like Honda and Nissan) could close a UK plant in a heartbeat and import instead.....

they might well import cars, but car plants in the EU will have to make the same leave payments as UL car plants, so no real advantage.
