We who are guilty of the crime of voting YES, at least we in good company - poor Andy is now paying the price for speaking his viewpoint. In a free democratic country can we not express our opinion any more without fear of reprisal? This is just not tennis!

Well, when he loses (wont be long) he will resume his membership (along with others like David Coulthard) of the "Useless Jock" club.

Well it works both ways, I have certainly been hammered by the No camp, and all my family were No's and were not too happy with me at all - I was astonished at the ferocity of their anti-Yes stance, but it seemed mainly a personal dislike of the SNP rather than against Independence itself. I think the No campaign has been extremely aggressive in putting fear of God into the population.

At the end of the day it is CHANGE that people have voted against - because change is risky, and keeping things the same is safer. That's why so many older people voted No, and why there is such strong support for Yes amongst the younger generation - younger people are more willing to take risks - like Andy!

They have to stop bullying Scotland, and the militant little Englander types to stop harrassing Andy - he's entitled to his opinion, and his whole family are Yes supporters. Telling somebody to go against their own opinion is definitely not acceptable!

Dont be daft..even the young were voting NO in big numbers, your mate wee Eck is delusional in blaming it all on the over 55s.

The fact is the Majority made up of all ages just can't abide him or his brand of independence.

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good old rant bloodnock. #-o

Did you spend any time scaring little old ladies into voting no or did you leave all that to your London based masters?
Vote "NO" or the evil nats will take yer pension away.......

in fairness, it could have gone, vote yes and you'll get the Saudi Arabia of Europe, coupled with green policy's - entwined with a socially acceptable society that accepts gay marriage, brokered by an allegedly homophobic bus operator who seemingly paid off the snp through party sponsorship

the above coupled with the corrupt feckers in London leaves us all in a mess

I don't think anyone was using English based call centres to drive that message home to pensioners though, were they? [-X

The vote is done now, the result has been decided. There is no point dwelling on it. You had your chance and you failed. Time for you to accept the will of the people and get on with life.

Oh I think not. [-X
Promises have been made and MUST be kept. Foolish and undeliverable promises made by proven liars who couldn't agree on the colour of shite.
Acceptance of these was the will of the people. Failure to deliver would render the referendum result worthless.

Yes, more devolved powers have been promised and I would expect you to keep up whatever pressure is needed to ensure that these are met. I was referring more to things that may or may not have happened during the referendum. Just let them go now and concentrate on the future and not the past.

Phone canvassing is a standard procedure at all elections so why would the referendum be any different?
