you will have to replace the fuel pressure rail, fuel manifold, all injectors and have to clean the fuel lines and replace all the fuel injectors and clean out the fuel tank of all swarf
that happened to my sons megan, using Renault parts it would have cost over £3000 with my discount and using aftermarket new parts we did it for £1500.
and the injectors have to be reprogramed to the ecu (free as I have the equipment to recode)

do a search on line about fuel pump fail on Renaults

This ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ is why I won't touch one. I've heard all that goes at 50,000 miles or before.

Test drove one yesterday. drives well. Seems as powerful as my Octavia that I drive now. I'm concerned about the fuel pump problem, but I'll extend my warranty to cover that. The way I see it the next option would be a Seat Toledo which is £4500 extra. So I have £4500 if I need repairs done.

Warranty might not cover it. Is there a dealer round your way?

So then....who wants to rely on an India built, Rumanian designed, French funded obsolete Renault based unknown quantity

what could POSSIBLY go wrong!

(says he with a Korean built, Italian engined, yank funded car whose dealers are quitting the UK in 3 months....)
