Any tips to keep them from flying off? Wouldn't mind but I was only doing 60, costing £7.50 a pop to replace.

This ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ go to a another supplier and get a better quality magnet. The ones we used to use used to stick like glue.

When you put them on wipe the magnetic side with a damp cloth, the smallest amount of dirt will stop it making a solid connection to your doors.

You aren't driving one of these are you?

Managed to get them to stay on for longer than a week anyway by putting them on the front doors, guessing they stick better there for whatever reason, touch wood #-o

bloody amazing non of you are concerned about the possibble dangers of these things flying off #-o

Dealt with a pillock company whose mag strips were flying off and guess what after contacting the LO this company was informed they were operating ILLEGALLY IN USING DANGEROUS EQUIPMENT AND ALL MAG STRIPS WERE IMMEDIATELY REMOVED

Subsequently they had to have stringently tested strips applied ..........none of which came off :D

So if any of you are using a vehicle with mag strips that have a history of coming off YOU the driver are liable to lose your license [rightly so of course] as is the company named on the strips ...............................fekking ridiculous NONE of you considered the safety aspect #-o #-o assoles =D> =D> =D> =D>

Our LA provide magnetic signs for private hire vehicles that have been granted an exemption from displaying signs so that they can be used when the exemption does not apply. I used to have them for my Rover 75. I had to put them on if I used the car for say a school run. Yes, they did fly off!
