Big flaw in your sums Skull

Uber charges 20% agreed, that's £80 from every £100 earned as you say, so that's £160 from £200 earned, if your assumption that I pay £600 per month is correct (not) divided by 30 days that's £20 per day my radio and App costs me, I can earn as much as I like Yes, I also have the Airport permit, I also have customer support as back up, I also have representation at LA and National level, I play my part in investing in local jobs, invest in technology, I also play my part through my dues in cutting my carbon footprint and hey I also play my part in supporting local charities, hey my radio dues go a long way, my radio dues even come back to me in extra call out and extra person charges, my radio is not £600 it is significantly less than that, adding up the sums per pound earned Id say to me the driver, I'm better off being a part of a circuit

Cmon Skull it's simple arithmetic

Ok it's not your strongest but nice try

Dougie, do you actually believe the tripe you write?
I don't actually know if Uber charges 20% but let's work with that figure. The 20% is on monies earned and not paid in advance whether you work or not. You work when it suits you. As for your airport permit you are working for ECPH but you have failed to considered the airport customers coming off flights with an Uber app on their phone. Oh and what about drivers, as long as you are licensed and have an app on your phone you can work for Uber?
The bottom line here is flexibility with no hidden charges and if you don't work you don't pay.

It doesn't get much better than that.
As for the rest of your tripe about carbon footprints and the like, the uptake of the Uber app could be astronomical, think about it Dougie, why wouldn't you sign up to Uber and that goes for owners and drivers of taxis and Phc?
It's only an app on your phone ffs
