And once again you offer nothing in the way of valid opinion just churlish comments in a bid to hide you fear of what Uber might mean to your future. #-o

Oh and this "big company"is a $40 Billion dollar global technology platform and I can't remember something like this ever coming to Edinburgh in the past. #-o #-o #-o

So no Flower, you couldn't say the same about my posts. #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

Dougie, there is no challenge becasue City Cabs are a thing of the past and Uber is the future, this is just about change, it is not a competition. :-|

I do not compare Gary, it is all there in black and white for every one to see, I dare say you would have fancied your chances with UBER but you will not be able to drive unless you have your badge back.
Your contribution to this forum has been consistent and you very rarely divert away from you personal insults etc.
Is there something missing in your life lol

Time will tell whether UBER is successful or not, but from what I see in London it is really not happening.

I see the UBER management are making the headlines in New York.

No personal insults merely a statement of fact.

Your posts are worthless and stupid and have no real substance whatsoever. And you are very consistent. #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

Dougie you and that Doughball Flower just don't get it, do you? #-o

Uber is a technology platform and they don't care about City Cabs, CRT or ECPH and no one is buying into Uber like you do with a Co-operative. It's a software app ffs and it's success or failure is dictated by the people who use it. #-o They are not asking anyone to buy into anything, you either upload the app and use it or you don't - simples. =D>

Uber's app is purely based on customer service and choice and if the customer is not getting the service they require, they will use a competing app company that's getting it right. Uber is competing against other technology platforms and not small-fry taxi companies like City or CRT. #-o #-o #-o #-o It's a service to service app you dumb shi*! :-|

Oh and Dougie, if no one is uploading the app and using their service then how are they becoming a $40 billion dollar global company? #-o #-o #-o #-o

The fact is, Uber is a future technology developing in the here and now and they will adapt to meet customers needs. =D>

Co-operatives like City Cabs and CRT are old uneconomical top heavy business models, that have been propped up by owners radio dues and probably should have went out of business years ago. As for ECPH, they are being overtaken by new inexpensive technology. Truth be told, you are all more or less in the same boat.

Apps are the future.... =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Oh and before you say "City has an app", it's shi* and City are not by any stretch of the imagination a global company developing a future technology. #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

Get a Grip FFS...... #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o
