Put two of these Lassa Snoways Era tyres on the front of my E7 yesterday, right away I could feel the grip on the road, hopefully not to many lost days this winter, watch the video, impressive

The situation might be slightly better but you should go the full hog and fit all winter tyres

Or better still Buy another set of wheels on Ebay and have a winter set to change over

Winter tyres a must on my Vito working in the sticks :D :D :D

Google you tube Winter tyres https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7xXDMkVFlE

Another interesting comparison summer/winter Tyres https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8m3pzxnD8c

Normally do all round, rear tyres have a lot of mileage left in them, sure I can get away with just two good ones on the front, weather dependent of course.

Winter tyres are a no Brainer for my safety as well as the punters.

I know the E7 is front wheel drive, but you should always have the better tyres on the rear. If you have to brake suddenly in slippy conditions the front will grip and the rears not so well and then inertia may well take over and your back end overtakes your front end ! and before anyone quotes "drive according to the conditions" its other road users actions that may result in you having to brake.

I'll order another Two, thanks for the advice, the Two I have on the back though have a lot of Wear left, I'm sure I'll take more care when breaking as I do anyway.

I used to go with winter Tyres on Front driving wheels only, but after a couple of Hare-um Scare-um pirouettes i stick em on all 4 corners...besides, for some odd reason I get greater mileage out of the rear fitted winter tyres, they last almost until the next Winters replacements.

I have just put my continental winter contact tyres back on from last year. Ive had about 25,000 miles out of them already and there's still 4-5mm left on them. Although we didn't have any real snow last year, the grip on icy or wet roads was incredible.
