I'm a taxi driver in Southampton, I've been doing the job over 12 years. In this time more and more cyclists are taking to the uk streets. Taxi drivers have a responsibility to uphold high standards of driving. And doing so be more vigilant towards cyclists and pedestrians on the public highway. We as drivers need to be more observant when driving and keeping our speed down[/color]

In a nutshell he's trying to say some car drivers don't give a fuck.

In another nutshell some bike riders don't give a fuck, they think traffic lights are there for illumination.

I'm always confused as to why 90% of cyclists ignore red lights, do you have an answer Mr BTS?

Ok then I will rephrase my question.

Why do 90% of cyclists ignore red lights 100% of the time?

maybe things are different in your manor but around here I can't remember the last time that I saw a cyclist stop for a red light.

Who are you going to report? 'The guy in the fluorescent jacket who you can identify on the CCTV that's by the lights?'

That's great, no sooner do I say that I can't remember the last time when today it happened. I was sat at the lights and a cyclist came past me and actually stopped at the lights as well. However he did start to move before they had even gone to red and amber.
