Oh how they turn

It wasn't long ago Alias Thompson and Taylor where using the customer safety one in there pursuit of de-restriction  Even worse they (he) is defending a company that can't control the possibility of serious breaches of customer safety, and worse still one of the Ts is promoting the shafting of the ordinary man in favour of the corporate profiteers, was his stance on the human rights of his fellow ordinaries just a guise, is it now proven that the Two Ts where as we suspected just out to shaft the whole trade and nothing but the Trade.

I think the case is now closed, the verdict, Guilty

Cabhappy the app we use does what it says on the tin, no complaints from me or my punters :D

Bit of a come down from 'the technology we use is second too none'". And " part of that service is a great App"

Don't mind you posting your opinion if you can back it up but it's all pontificating with no substance from you.

"well placed to stand up to whatever App companies think they can throw at us, we are adapting, we are evolving"

Who is? your company! Are you developing your app in response too your drivers and punters? Or the competition?

What is in the pipeline then? What are your developers working on? Nada! Because it is not your app you are buying only what is for sale!

"better apps are not right for Edinburgh, we have the app market covered with our bog standard one" Ok I'm para phrasing slightly.

Do you really believe that? You go on about co-operatives and what is good for the taxi trade.

Yet you try and convince your fellow trade members with empty statements infused with negativity about something they might find of advantage to them.
What's next Stalin? Will you be banning drivers from your company from using another app?

Good luck with that

Dougie, the app you use is a silly wee local app and nothing like the Global Uber app that flashes up free taxi rides on your phone.  =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Ouch

http://metro.co.uk/2014/12/11/Uber-driv ... o=facebook

Is your Data safe from hackers

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the ... r-hackers/

Just for you Cab Happy

http://www.cordic.com/smartbooker.html

An app that is a part of a circuit and has back up from a company that can guarantee it complies with all laws and regulations is a better app than one that doesn't want to comply, the app we use is safe, it doesn't carry worth while hackable data, no personal data a requirement upon signing up, just a straight forward name, address and phone number required, the safest way to book online or do any kind of purchasing online is to know who you are doing business with, the Uber way will scare the life out of a huge majority, fact

My advice, stick with an App that works with a circuit, one that acts within the law, Cab Happy a local App is all that is required :D

Good Job Reggie.

The app your using is getting better. No point in slagging off competitors is there now. Doing a great job emphasising the future of apps and e-com for taxis too.
I'm intrigued though.
How do you charge customers for non cash jobs without taking card details?
Or pay drivers for the card jobs without holding their bank details?

Setting aside Über for now it's geared up mainly for the PH market. Oh that's right Cordic sells to PH too. That's why it works best through a booking office. Booking offices cost plenty to run, well you know that because you pay the fees.
But Taxis are public hire and don't need a booking office. Worth paying a bit for extra jobs. Some agree some not.

But what about an app that can do everything a booking office does without the huge costs, now that's the future eh!
An app owned by drivers, designed by drivers, promoted by drivers, working for drivers, and used only by Taxi drivers.
An app where the only details you need to provide are name, phone, email and vehicle. Bank details are a choice.
Driver choice, don't want card jobs - don't. Do cash only.

A taxi drivers app!

If only.
