Good Job Reggie.
The app your using is getting better. No point in slagging off competitors is there now. Doing a great job emphasising the future of apps and e-com for taxis too.
I'm intrigued though.
How do you charge customers for non cash jobs without taking card details?
Or pay drivers for the card jobs without holding their bank details?
Setting aside Über for now it's geared up mainly for the PH market. Oh that's right Cordic sells to PH too. That's why it works best through a booking office. Booking offices cost plenty to run, well you know that because you pay the fees.
But Taxis are public hire and don't need a booking office. Worth paying a bit for extra jobs. Some agree some not.
But what about an app that can do everything a booking office does without the huge costs, now that's the future eh!
An app owned by drivers, designed by drivers, promoted by drivers, working for drivers, and used only by Taxi drivers.
An app where the only details you need to provide are name, phone, email and vehicle. Bank details are a choice.
Driver choice, don't want card jobs - don't. Do cash only.
A taxi drivers app!
If only.
I'm sure you can work out the Two answers Cab Happy
My bank details are much safer where they are thank you very much, Uber as I've shown have a massive target on their back, it reads, HACK ME
Uber upon signing up as a customer require your bank details, what you describe is what we use just now, local apps such as the Cordic one provided, do the same job as the Uber App, these are the kind of App we as a trade should be getting behind, not jumping in to bed with the likes of Uber, a company who does dilute a drivers earnings and at any cost, a company that just shrugs of customer complaints, a company that cannot guarantee customer safety, a company that can be duped by infiltrators who just want to attack single women and/or even worse commit an act of terrorism, a company that uses dirty tactics against anyone giving them bad press, a company that uses dirty tactics to wipe out the competition, a company that cannot be trusted with your details or you or your customers whereabouts, a company willing to hold bad against you and your customers, a company that doesn't care is a company that cannot be trusted, we should be getting behind an App like the Cordic Smart Booker 2, it does the job, the Cordic App has never let me or my punter down but it's not a big part of our business, the App market in Edinburgh is small, it's growing but the Cordic App is sufficent.
I'm not rattled by Uber, they haven't been granted a booking office licence as yet, all the bad press though has come in handy
Until they do though it's onwards and upwards but we are ready, the Cordic App is a match for any App out there, so come on Cab Happy provide a link to an App that beats the Cordic App I've provided, Uber excluded
