Taxi Driver Online

So how did we all do this weekend?

Wasn't particularly busy either night round here and a lot quieter that previous years! Still did ok though with office parties etc. How was everyone else's area? In 2 twelve hour night shifts this weekend I probably had 2 or 3 idiots, I call that a result.....

I had my best week, but that included my school, a monday night local restaurant return and a friday night brum return (chaos in the city centre) and an average saturday day shift 10am-6pm

I was going to post the same question.

I use the High St as a barometer as to how the National economy is, basically what is happening in my back yard...is mirrored around the country.

On Friday I did well on the back of streets that were not overly full, Saturday was a little bit quieter than normal. My take on this is that the sh!t has yet to hit the fan, we are likely to be in this mess for years to come, with I believe worse to come..........much worse.

You could be right there... If it's not busy out the weekend preceeding christmas, then when will it be? I had a Cardiff drop off last night (20 odd miles away) and there were lines and lines of hackney cabs with not much business. One guy was asleep in his cab!

Both Friday/Saturday where great ,non stop all night.

I think that you have to define what part of the country that you are from as it is/will be fragmented. In my case I did well.....but you could see that the streets were not exactly buzzing. Having said that; facts and figures state that we are experiencing an increase in unemployment.....nothing new on that one

Just an Average Friday night, and Saturday less than average...that said the next few days look busier as folk are looking for pr booked Station Pickups...then if you take away the School work for two weeks and the following post Holiday slump it turns into an over all nett loss of income and never a net gain.

You just Have moments of Exhileration followed by Extreme emptiness...It's like Business Manic Depression .

non stop fri/sat and decent sunday up to about 8 pm here on the sunshine coast.

Friday was mental, I lost the plot at 8pm and turfed the first one out of the car, he thought it was clever to snort cocaine in the back. Apart from that it wasn't a bad night at all.

Saturday was also a decent night.

Aren't you supposed to be doing plant hire by now?
