Fecked if I'm going to listen to 3 hours of Holyrood because they never give 3 nano seconds of listening time to their electorate.

Receiving and Dispatching by Electronic means, how could you describe an App that shows a difference between Circuit and App :?:

Isn't picking up the phone and calling a taxi company a form of telephonic hailing?

Consultant James Cooper the government's expert on the Taxi and Ph trades has categorically stated that apps are a form of ELECTRONIC HAILING. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Press a button and you hail a cab - simples. No telephonists to take bookings off the phones or office dispatching work to mobiles just an app. =D> =D> =D> =D>

Now stop being so fuc*ing stupid with your "telephonic hailing" you raving ars*hole. #-o #-o #-o #-o

Oh and as for banning drivers/owners from using certain apps it's patently ridiculous. The app is an ELECTRONIC HAILING device and as such is covered by the data protection act. :-|

I think it would be a very stupid company to even attempt banning their drivers/members from using these apps. :-|

We have one Skull, works through our PDA, straight through, no telephonists and what I like about the one i service and promote is the fact that I don't have to pay attention to it, it's also not using my personal data allowance, it also doesn't cost me any money in commissions, nothing added to my circuit fees as a result of using the App, so why would anyone in my position use another App?

Dougie, your app comes via a radio circuit which charges you a fortune in fees just to run an office and to pay a committee. #-o Oh and the punter will jump ship to the companies that offer free rides and discounts for using their services and that's not City Cabs. #-o

So if you want to sit around with your thumb up your ass, then by all means, use your City Cabs app. #-o

Good call Reggie, you pay 52 weeks of the year, plus your big membership fee and all the extras thrown in.

The app user is pay as you go, and they are not forced to do the jobs. You may think that is a bad thing but if the work is there then the sheep will follow so some one else will fall into the job.

The commitment is up to the driver and they are not answerable to a company.

Lets see what the future brings us.

I'm with a radio company but unhappy with the position I find myself in , my position is now worth less than what I paid for it . I have to pay for a permit for the airport which I don't use , my driver uses it now and again , we have lost a major contract with no signs of anything major coming soon to replace it . All our eggs are tied up in the Airport if that goes god knows what will happen , I don't have much to do with the committee , but when I asked what was happening and what they are doing to replace the work that's been lost , wasn't happy with the reply seems CRT are to blame and if I'm not happy go join them , my opinion now of the two I spoke too ( Chairman and Secretary ) are that they are only concerned with their own agenda , I now have serious doubts about the company's future are we being led down the garden path . And to watch this video sums it all up a rep full of his own importance , and orchestrating a motion for Taxi drivers to work for less at the festive period by the removal of tariff 4 , I now think he is a Kamikaze Taxi driver or human lemming .

At least there are still some around who are prepared to put themselves forward to try and make a difference and also put their names to those beliefs.

Put yourself forward at what cost , your advocating a policy that will decrease my potential to earn a wage . You don't like anybody upsetting your apple cart and when they do , you start shouting and bullying like your the victim . I watched your performance on video and was greatly disappointed by what you said , in fact embarrassed would be a better description , what you said was not that of the mood of the camp . You seemed a genuine person when I joined the company but now I'm not so sure , maybe your passed your sell by date , we have to go forward not backwards as what seems to be happening a lot of unhappy members in the company .
