We have no multiple car owners within the base, basically because (i think) the base rents (PDA) are too high, £150 a week as against £85 in the next LA and £65 the next further along and I cant see that the takings rise accordingly (the £85/week town is bigger, minimum trips must average twice ours), it wasnt uncommon when I was in the £65/week area that some owned 3 or more cars with drivers on a split bag.

Saturday night at 7pm - when i knocked off - there were at least 6 E7's (the base owners) parked up at the base with no drivers....

£320 or (for 1 with a new badge and licence, £335)

which means its hardly viable to rent just a PDA alone

there are very few OD's on the base, 90% of the cars are rented

he does shorter terms.....£60/12 hours.....

I told him id never do nights or 12 hour shifts (£31 PDA) so I pay £20 for 9 hours usually only saturdays 10am-7pm

there are a few in our firm who have got 2 or 3 cars. They are mostly old sheds and I've no idea how any money is made on them as there is always something wrong with them.
