A taxi carrying three passengers was involved in a serious collision with a car in Birmingham.

Five people were injured in total in the crash at the junction of Bristol Road and Priory Road in Edgbaston, at around 8.30pm last night, including the taxi driver and a man driving the other vehicle.

Three ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
