Hi Skull how are you? i have no desire to meet you up the council to prove what we all already know! Now you're claiming they didn't suspend it after all.They probably no longer have your file as it's been so long since you were pumped oot the trade for being a constant nuisance. It's been awhile since i've been on here Skull and i find it as no surprise you're still here with bitterness coursing through your veins. Hows the dog walking business centre? i'd bet you've done hee haw on that front.

You're an enigma the real taxi driver. You moan that your earnings have been hit by the devastating change of tariff for 4 days at the festive period yet champion The Get Taxi app which promises much lower fares for customers which means Einstein, less money in yer tail!

See TRTD the discount policy only works if you can control the market by driving, no pun intended, others out of business. Brain and Ann from stagecoach done this to force others out of business. Now i really doubt this is the plan at Gilmore place.

In your childish manner you're promoting the get taxi app so why not enlighten us all further......

How much discount are you paying? Are you getting much work of it? Any operational issues?

Another couple.......do you have the city cabs back bumper ad? Do you promote city cabs to your customers?

How can you suspend the licence of a person who is repeatedly telling you to stick it, where the sun doesn't shine? Fact-I told the Cab Inspector what to do with it, when he asked me to attend an interview. Fact - I refused to attend the Regulatory Committee Meeting and told them where to stick it. Fact - when they wrote to me upon the renewal of my licence I told them to stick once again.

Artur, you won't meet up with me because you are a cowered and writing something on this forum is about as brave as you can get.

As for my "bitterness" I have made no secret of the contempt I feel for people like you and it gives me great pleasure, to know that City Cabs and CRT are going to go down the pan.

Need I remind you, I spent over twenty years in that cesspool you call a taxi trade. And now for me, it's a simple case of I TOLD YOU SO!

Oh and as for the dog walking I wouldn't swap it for the world. No more dealing with ignorant stupid scumbags like you or Les or picking up bottom feeders for a living.

Honestly, you cannot imagine the freedom you feel when you no longer keep the company of scum. Your "Trade" has given me a huge appreciation of the life I have now and I wouldn't swap it for anything.

Taxi drivers are their own worst enemies in my opinion. In nearly 30 years of driving in radio companies and on the street the same stuff appears every few years and of course its always somebody else's fault.
Regarding the fascination with people knowing who exactly they are talking to when posting its called freedom of choice. I have been active on many different forums on a wide range of issues on the internet for many years and you will find that the vast percentage of forums operate very well with people using usernames as opposed to their real names.....Why??? well just have a look at the personal and vitriolic abuse that emanates from some people on here on topical subjects. There is no way any right minded person is going to invite possible verbal or direct threats to their person or home address or vehicle just because someone does not like them or their views.
Please just think back to the airport tendering process where committee members of city cabs had personal threats and vehicle damage done just because people did not agree with their methods/point of view over a taxi tender!!!!!!!
I will NEVER post under my name on here but will continue to post my views where appropriate and will continue to drive my taxi and keep myself to myself knowing that I am a courteous polite taxi driver of many years standing where I do value my job and the customers I carry.

les, you say that there is no bullying in City Cabs! Could you please then explain the phone call you made to a memberof your company, telling him that if he did not tell one of his drivers to stop giving you a hard time on your members forum, that you would suspend his drivers pin numbers! If thats not bullying, then could you give me an example of what is.

Mr Desire you will have to go back to your source and check the facts. If there is a source that is.
City Cabs has a robust, open and honest complaints procedure.
It would certainly not be possible for any member of the company, committee man or not, to have someone suspended for disagreeing with him on a forum.
The Rules and Bylaws of City Cabs are clear and documented, as are the procedures that have to be followed should we receive a complaint regarding any matter.
No committee man can have anyone suspended without going through the proper procedures and I certainly wouldn't be party to suspending someone for giving me a hard time on a forum.
I did not phone any member and threaten to suspend his driver. I don't have the power as a mere committee man, nor should I have, to suspend anyone. That's not how City Cabs operate.

So sorry to disappoint but I will say again this is another example of someone seeking to cause mischief without putting his name to the allegation. I would suggest if the person or persons involved thought that they had to put their name to these allegations and stand up and be accountable for them then we would not be discussing it now, for by being open, honest and up front brings a certain natural higher level to any debate.

On a slightly different note I think the Skull deserves some sort of recognition for the 10,000 landmark he is about reach. A sort of "Service to the Taxi Trade" award. Perhaps one of us could take up his repeated offer of meeting him up the council to prove or disprove whatever the topic of the day may be. We could then arrange a surprise for him and employ a modern day Eamon Andrews to jump out from behind the door and conduct a half hour This is Your Life programme.
I am sure we could twist a few arms and get some known current and past adversaries to appear. A few Cab Inspectors, some ex CRT committee members and even a couple of the Licencing and Regulatory Committee Councillors may agree to make an appearance.
In keeping with the original format of the programme the best is left to the last. We could, perhaps, persuade a council official to appear and present a letter to the Skull un-revoking his licence if he promises to comply with the Terms and Conditions of his Licence. A real tear jerker.

It is part of our modern day world. To claim persecution may open certain doors. In this case claiming to being bullied and intimidated seems to ease their conscience and gives them reason to invent a new name and fabricate stories.

I am assuming you are referring to the same as Mr Desire but perhaps you are one of the same person?
