For Uber to do as you predict Skull the fences they need to jump are, driver participation ((plenty evidence of mistreatment)) they need App users ((Edinburgh is a small city in comparison to NY, India and London etc They won't get away with the bad press here, the App market is not as big as you think, Every company in Edinburgh including Ph operate their own Ridesharing App, CRT&CC Apps are well established, customers trust because of the reliability&service of our Apps, the customer has plenty of back up using our App, plenty of evidence within Ubers T&Cs that they are not responsible for driver behaviour etc)) They need local regulation to turn a blind eye to their working practices ((That's not going to happen, our trade won't allow it, the council won't allow it, they have a tram to pay for, they also have a huge shortfall in their budget, the last thing they need is a Taxi Price War, they also have the power to limit private hire, the last thing our council needs is a saturated market, they are trying to promote 20 mph zones, a cleaner greener City))

3 huge fences, not hurdles but big jaggy fences Skull, the same ones you and your fellow crusader faced when trying to screw a trade, how did you's get on, you's fell at the first, you's kept trying but again you's just kept on falling, that should be failing but it's close enough.
If Uber does enter the market it'll have done so because of the trade, we'll fight fire with fire Skull, they will play by the rules we play by, remember Scotlands regulations differ from ((envied by)) England, those regulations are going to get a whole lot tighter.
So it's game on, Uber are hoping to be at the starting line, you again and again and again are at the starting line, let's see how you both clear the big jaggy fences, you don't half make some laughable predictions Skull, tell us one Cmon just one where you have been proved right, you know bang on I told you so

Reliability&service will win the day in the App war, I'm thinking all the publicity surrounding Uber may work in a well established, well served, no need to upload bank details Apps favour, the City Cab App works, it's well established, it's well served by drivers and our customers are safe in the knowledge the details they provide are minimal, I ask all my App customers their opinion on our App, they love it, they think it's great, Uber and Get taxi have no chance against a well established App in Edinburgh, the market is to small, I can't see them ever becoming reliable, we've seen it since I started 17 years ago, only a hardcore amount of drivers work the circuit at times of high demand, the majority who don't will continue to work the street, I'm confident our trade will win through and hey we may pick up more App customers once they realise the App we use is vastly superior when it comes to reliability&service
