I'm stating an opinion, if you disagree, that's your right to do so, it's been stated by others that we can only give significant ground away to the likes of Get Taxi and Uber if we don't all pull together, drivers have to play their part in that as does some owners, we have to up the reliability and customer service of our trade, we have to up the acceptance of taking credit cards Etc

If your points are about proving stats, then I'm only presuming based on my knowledge, im not privy to the actual stats, maybe someone who is can highlight those stats during times of high demand, again I'm presuming we have more of a problem with drivers not covering the work during these times than we do with Members, the Stat concerning our committee having the backing of the majority is fact, I go to AGMs, I'm privy to the results of Votes for election and resolutions, I had 3 resolutions last year, 40% voted for meaning 60% voted against, that's a majority backing for the status quo.

If you have points I still need to answer feel free but again I'm only offering my opinion

Was just debating with the Mrs Artur what we'd have for breakfast tomorrow as we're both off. Getting annoyed with Mrs A's suggestions I quickly checked this site. Reading your post has given me an idea.....

Waffles.......yup it's waffles for breakfast! Thanks PR

Where does all the hatred come from? You must have a relationship with Skull!! The end to your post is rather droll and dated, are you trying to give us a hint "TRTD?"

When it comes to something to read that would be of some assistance to you "TRTD", I would suggest you read The Articles of the Accosiation and in particular pay attention to Arricle 5.

Les, if you want to talk about what you really should be doing, when faced with the reality of multi-national corporations moving into your market, it goes something like this:

The committees of both City Cabs and CRT should resign with the view to installing a caretaker committee from the body of each membership to work jointly with one purpose in mind. To create a single company operated by skilled businessmen and not daft wee taxi drivers.

The only thing a committee should be dealing with is the welfare of its members and acting as go-betweens to keep everyone up to speed on their company's performance and how it is being run.

Oh and Les, you and the other monkeys on these committees should stick to what you know best, driving your taxis. :-|

A thousand members with one office run by skilled businessmen promoting a single app. =D> =D> =D> It's your only chance. =D> =D> =D> Oh and even then these multi-nationals might crush you under foot. It just depends on how much money they wish to throw at the problem. :-|

So Les, save your bullshi* for the morons that pay your salary. #-o

So boys, Kaizer, Les when can we expect your resignations? #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

Oh and Kaizer a company a thousand members strong could easily pay the salary of a professional businessman to run it. Then the members could get back to giving their committees a small honorarium for their services to the company. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Good Afternoon Skull. You haven't disapointed with your latest drivel. Have you just finished high tea with The Real Taxi Driver? You obviously converse.

I would think that you would be looking at a salary of about £250,000 for someone to manage a cooperative. Then assistants etc on top and managers for different departments you would be looking in the region of a million pounds. The first hurdle would of course finding soneone with the suitable attributes to carry out the job. Any ideas skull?

Do you think you could do the job Skull? You could take your business expertise from the dog walking sector. Add The Real Taxi Driver in as your 2nd in command and there you have it.

As for a resignation Skull. Long live Stina.

Oh I see, so the committees are doing it on the cheap because the way you figure it, it would cost £250,000 to find someone with the requisite skill set to replace the committee?

DON'T TALK SHI*E!!!

Since the crash of 2007-2008 there a lots of people with the required skills to replace the Darts team committees you have now. #-o You would simply pay them a salary with a performance related bonus and let them get on with running the company. =D> =D> =D> =D>

Honestly Kaizer, your greed and narcissism is going to bring the downfall of both companies. You lot are living in a dream-world. #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

Skull hatred towards the Taxi Trade is worrying. You say you are happy you have left yet you are on this site day in day out spraffing sheeeite. I had a giggle to myself as I just dropped off at the Airport. I remember you being hauled away by the authorities, or was that someone else?? A great advert for the Trade you were. I am interested though on how your puppy sitting venture is going? Has it been a barking success or just pawthetic?
Woof woof skull.

Mrs A&M is interested in you TRTD, in a professional sense of course.

The first issue is your name......it suggests you have a yearning to be taken seriously however feel you're not. This could be the fuel for your hatred.

You praise then take it all away with your nasty accusations. This is confusing and Mrs A&M feels you are in early stages of Stockholm syndrome.

You need attention, we all need a little TLC TRTD. With or without your blessing makes you sound like an angry teenager.

She also states that she could be wrong and you could simply be a bawbag that likes being a nuisance.

Kaiser isn't it bizarre he mentions JR Hartley's masterpiece Fly Fishing. I can still picture us two shaking our heads in disbelief as Stina caught a whopper, no not John Holmes' member but a cracking brown trout in Lake Tuapo, New Zealand. And she had been given that book in Colorado by that mad Texan JC when we were all working the ranches that summer. He was a coooool cat though. Fortune favours the brave they say.

It's all about getting the bait correct. Don't you agree TRTD?.......

If the "sniper" can't get you to react, the behaviour loses it's value.

To the Real Taxi Driver

If you are so unhappy then why do you stay?
If you have found the answer to your prayers in your new service provider and CityCabs is so bad then release some of your assets. I am sure that your financial advisor would approve. Why pay for a Radio Circuit that doesn't work for you.
My figures do stack up because I am prepared to work the system and I simply go for the jobs.

You will find that when you joined City Cabs you did indeed sign up to work within the Rules and Bylaws of City Cabs. If you can't do that anymore then just leave and stop causing yourself all this angst.
You have appeared on this site and presented a few untrue accusations, hence the need to hide your true identity, and made it be known your fondness for the new Taxi App.
It sounds like you need to move on or confront things in a more positive honest way.

It was a 10lber Artur. It took the great Stina a while to land it but she prevailed in the end. It tasted wonderful grilled on the BBQ with the Mint Mash. Great memories. I remember the Poker night at The Plaza New York City in 87. Olaf was a bandit, played his cards close to his chest, Stina couldn't but that wasn't her fault. I'll never forget Stinas face when the legendary John Holmes looked at her and told her "I'm going All In". She nearly fainted. John did go all in with two pair, Kings and 8's, Stina had a full house.
I bet she could read a few of these "Jokers" on this site.
Give my love to the Mrs A&M. She's a true gentleman.
