Well, it was a City Cab that picked me up yesterday and it was a good fair. =D> =D> =D> =D> I'll tell you what though, I was more than a little surprised.    I was actually laughing when I jumped in and that's what started the conversation about the committee.   I'm not going to repeat what the guy said about you Les or your chum Dod because it would probably get me arrested.   However, I can tell you that after your Christmas tariff debacle, you are not a popular man. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> So it seems TRTD, is not the only one unhappy with your performance. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Oh and when I asked him about using the app he just replied f*ck them...

Good morning The Dull One. Are you referring to George when you mention Dod? I would suggest your self education could do with more attention being paid to detail. Your hatred towards these two men is not healthy Dullio. Do you have regular concersations with the puppies Skullio. Does it annoy you when they bark? Do their growls sound the Authorities when they REVOKED your license? I fear you may need some help Skullio.

Artur, wonderful choice, look forward to seeing you there.

Kaizer I don't hate Les and Dod or anyone on the committees for that matter but I do see them as figures of fun and ridicule. I mean, what do the members see that elect these people? #-o Christ, I can tell at a glance they are not to be trusted.

Oh and Kaizer, your City Cabs driver who picked me up yesterday reckoned that a lot of work coming off the GET TAXI app was people coming in through the airport that already had the app on their phone. So it must be working well in other cities up and down the UK. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> With Edinburgh following shortly.... =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Perhaps a little bit of light relief from all this self inflicted bitterness.

Les that will be your only friend but is he a real friend is the Question , tongue's are a wagging about the lengths your going to trying to find out who I am . Yet again I have had a good night thanks to get taxi and not city , I even got a job whilst on the feeder no more waiting for me stuff being 35th on a rank when get taxi offers me a job , didn't need to bid seems I'm a premier Cab been rated 5 stars by customers so now I get some lucrative work therefore increasing my earning potential happy days .

I'm absolutely beginning to love your smoke and dagger approach TRTD. You're a good sport obviously so I know TRTD , my friend, you're going to love this game.......

Now I'm sure most members of both companies surely would agree any member signing up to the apps is fundamentally detrimental to both companies.

Now the game......

If you're stuck on the feeder as TRTD hints at then why not download the Getaxi app to see how wonderful it is. You can order a cab and it gives you a picture of the cabbie arriving and then you can cancel the cab just so we can all see how it works, allegedly

It's important to understand our competition and who are rivals are.

Have you been sleeping under a rock somewhere Artur? UBER and GET TAXI have been on the go around the world for the last five years. While your committees have been sitting in the office playing with themselves and getting fat off their members radio dues. #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

And that's exactly why Edinburgh should have the cap on licence plates removed. [-X [-X [-X

You seem to think the driver is there to give you position and not just to hire your cab. [-X [-X [-X

It would be interesting to see how big shots like you would cope without a drivers rental. #-o #-o #-o

I think you are dreaming... #-o #-o The job might not be rocket science but without a drivers rental a lot of guys would simply go under. Oh and I've seen this with my own eyes. :-| Your overheads would eventually cripple your earning potential. Unless of course you don't need a lot of money to survive or you have a wife on a good salary, which is not the case for most owner operators. :-|

Oh and if that's your attitude concerning drivers, you don't deserve one and you should be driving on your own. :-|

And what amazes me, is that your committee has ignored the threat of these multi-national app companies for five years and now that they have arrived, the driver is to blame? #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

If truth be told, City Cabs and CRT should have merged years ago to counter exactly the threat they are faced with now but your committees have been working flat-out to protect their gravy trains. eusasmiles.zip

You may be right that the 2 should have merged but that's in the past now and too much water under the bridge I recon. As for the committee gravy train,..... It's not a job I would know how to do or would want. So I'm personally happy for these guys to earn a decent wage. There's plenty work for the 3 companies and if no one sings up to these apps they won't succeed.

Kaizer Soze again what hatred have I shown towards Les , it is only my opinion of the way he operates not fuelled by hatred at all . You must be ( Skulls terminology ) one of the sheeple who follow the shepherd , I myself will continue to do what I want when I want to expand and encourage the growth of my earning potential , you sir can run along and keep kissing the shepherds butt .

I am told by the owner to abide by the City Cabs rules and bylaws if I want to drive for City Cabs. So because I do and have abided by the rules for my time with City Cabs I can kiss the shepherds butt. What a brilliant philosophy. Let's look at your working practices TRTD. You are an owner with City and have signed a contract stipulating you will abide by the same rules. You now choose to take work from an outside app provider and whilst doing these jobs Mrs Jones can't get her taxi because although your in the area you busy with Get Taxi. Mrs Jones now waits 35 minutes for a Taxi, phones CRT and never uses City again. So what you are doing TRTD is jeopardising every City Cab member and drivers earnings. Way to go.

Question TRTD. If simultaneously you were offered a job by City Cabs and Get Taxi, which one would you do?

Are you sure the TRTD doesn't stand for The Real Taxi Donkey??

I get the feeling you've not been driving taxis for very long? Oh and trust me, a monkey could do a committeeman's job. :-| And if you want proof, you've only to look at the quality of individuals running these companies at present.

Oh and these apps will succeed. =D> =D> =D> It might be a slow burn at the moment but it's only a matter of time... =D> =D> =D> =D>
