I'm afraid the truth is, you don't own a plate and it holds no intrinsic value. What you have bought is a job. Propped up by a cap on plates and drivers being denied unfettered access to the tools of their trade. The council could pull the plug and your pretendy little world would disappear in a heartbeat.
