speak to your marque dealer and see what they can do for you, I've got a trade account with Arnold Clark for our stuff and they surprisingly are very very competitive.

25% off of something that is 100% more expensive than at the local Motor Factors is a fools saving..Unless your really stuck then theres cheaper than Halfords.

I don't swear by the card. I get my stuff from central taxi parts in Birmingham. Really cheap. Just posting it up to other cabbies.

4 track rod ends, new brake flexi pipe, front pads, front wheel bearings x2....Patons = £244 and I got them for £70 online.

The card is good for when you are really stuck working in the drive way and need something quick. Still a saving is a saving In my eyes.

Maccess is still trading in Bathgate but you must be VAT registered and have garage premises that will be inspected. However don't be fooled that they are cheap! I went and was shocked. Half the stuff is cheaper on eBay or Euro car parts.

I've had a Trade Card for a while now, not really used it much to be honest, I prefer Euro Car Parts. Problem with Trade Card is you don't know the price until you get to the till, discounted/sale items are normally cheaper than using the Trade Card.
