car arrived 24th, V5 arrived 26th

the keepers name on the V5 was as advised only a few days before (i.e. me t/as)

I suspect new reg V5's are done online - cant see the salesman toddling off to post the forms to DVLA

you said the date of registration was the 1st. and it arrived on the 26th. The car took over 3 weeks to be delivered as well.
