Of course 8) And no fracking :D

They're worse than the Greens. Enjoy your wind power.

We do, thanks. As well as the Hydro and tidal power.
Add in existing fossil fuel plants and we generate far more than we need.
With the waste issues and decommissioning costs, nuclear is probably the most expensive way of generating electricity.
Scotland has no need for expensive and dangerous nuclear power. :D

Maybe they can store the nuclear waste in your garden? I'd rather have the windmills :D

You won't have fossil fuels for much longer because them pesky EU people are banning making electricity from it. The Germans on the other hand are opening more coal and lignite fired power stations.

ffs this country was a world leader in nuclear energy post war - we've had p*ssy governments f*cking about not investing and the industry of the future gets left behind because of pinkos and no investment.

if you think wind power is going to seriously help the country god help you, you need to seriously wake up.

oil and coal will kill you because its toxic - the future is nuclear.

Doesn't say anything about the EU banning fossil fuel generation or Germans opening more coal stations despite a ban. It does say that some must close because of air quality - quite topical considering the warnings about air pollution a few days ago.

I doubt wind power will ever supply the UK with anything like enough power. Scotland has much smaller needs :D

The UK does need nuclear power. Scotland does not :D

Such a safe source of power, nuclear fission :-"
