Well grandad there's no doubt your presence would be beneficial to the proprietors section of the industry #-o #-o

Exploitation of the drivers would of course escalate, no doubt your intention ???

The imbecilic response from others clearly illustrates why the workers in this industry BOTTOM the earnings league :D :D 78% of self employed workers live below the official poverty line naturally that includes Hack PH Drivers .............naturally their lack of intelligence will secure that rating for ALL TIME!!

GRANDAD YOUR WILLINGNESS IS TO BE INVOLVED IS TO BE CONGRATULATED YOUR CHOICE OF PARTY RAISES TO ME SERIOUS DOUBTS AS TO YOUR MOTIVES #-o #-o

On the contrary. I am the the one who is still fighting to get drivers a better deal. Take good friday for instance. The people driving my cars were using the council rate 4 as per the tariff card. As you know, the drivers pay me per mile that they drive. This did not go up with the increased tariff. the extra money that the drivers took they kept. Drivers at some of the other firms in the town were told that they must use rate 1 or else. Whatever or else would have meant. I have drivers who take home £600-700 per week after they have paid their mileage, which includes fuel and everything else and I don't think any of them work over 50 hours a week.

Thats good :D :D

Getting involved also .........................it appears your unlikely to be elected .......................but obviously youve recognised the necessity of the industry being "at the table" .........................your aware of my views on the Tory's but on local issues occasionally they can be maneouverd to sensible policies .............without doubt the worst are the LAP DOGS absolute assoles ............................havnt dealt with UK idiots Party members as of yet.

for the industry to progress it needs many many Cllrs influencing councils and policy's ................so congratulations upon your efforts ............and keep us posted upon your campaign :D =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Looking at the nominations for our Borough the Tories have already got 9 Councillors from uncontested wards. There will be at least 2 more elected due to the number of seats available in 2 of the wards being more than the other candidates combined. So that is already 11 out of 28. In the ward where I am standing there are 2 seats available. There are 2 Tory candidates, 2 Labour candidates and 1 independent. None of the current Councillors in the ward are seeking re-election. In fact at the last election 2 Labour Councillors were elected but one resigned mid term and the other stopped going to meetings about a year ago. I start on the campaign trail this week.
As an aside, the Labour Councillor who is up before the beak for benefit fraud is standing for election as an independent.

I have had a call today to tell me I will have some extra help on the campaign trail later this week. Sir Alan Duncan will be out with me.

A mere technicality. He will be re-elected at the election, probably with an increased majority as well. If it helps my election campaign, I will walk the streets with anyone............even you!!!
