Drunken taxi passenger abused Carlisle police officersA woman admitted being drunk and disorderly after police found her slumped asleep in a taxi.
Jacqueline Cameron, 52, also abused officers, swearing loudly after they took her home to Millholme Avenue, Currock, Carlisle.
Magistrates in the city were told officers were flagged down after a taxi driver had difficulty with a passenger paying her fare in the city centre.
She paid her £10 fare and said she wanted to go to a nightclub.
Police took her home, where she became abusive.
Cameron admitted being drunk and disorderly and apologised to the court for her behaviour. She was fined of £35 with court costs of £85.
