Good for you =D> Poverty doesn't exist because you go to work?

Quote:
I could tell you about my dad, went to school in clogs, he had f*ck all, but it was only 5 miles from their tenement to the school - some days they never had any food for him or his brother, because his dad like a good irish catholic, beat his mother then beat him, and then f*cked off for weeks on end.

Your grandad sounds alot like my dad except he f*cked off permanently when I was four, back to his wife. Just after my mum was diagnosed with MS. He left her with 3 b*stard boys under 7 (at a time when that was still considered a bad thing) - and a wheelchair.

I defy you to tell me this happens now on the mass scale it happened during the 1930's.

I didn't say it does :?
Are you saying poverty doesn't exist because there aren't millions as hard up as in 1930's?

Quote:
If stating facts makes me a tory then your wrong - I think it makes me honest - as ive said previously, none of them are honest, all of them lie, they sell a fantasy - f*ck them.

Stating facts like this?

Quote:
poverty in the UK revolves around not having BT sport or not having the latest trainers ffs

That may be true for some chancers, maybe even a high proportion of them, but to say that is the case with everyone is f*cking insulting.

I agree, but in my view it is no worse or no better than it has ever been.

Well a right set too there ! Now i dont know if some are being deliberately stupid "no poverty" or just provocative?

Children in london regularly go to school without a breakfast FACT Rickets has made a come back amongst school children FACT Old Age pensioners freeze or starve to death every year FACT...................My daughter is a school cook chef in the home county's FACT what she sees is disgracful in a civilised society FACT

CC i vehemently disagree with your analogy on voting, to me in my opinion YOU only assist the forces of EVIL, i am all in favour of compulsory voting ie you dont vote you get fined!! naturally spoiling your ballot paper would be acceptable .........................i strongly suspect your being provocative ? if its a genuine opinion fair enough .....lets agree to disagree :D

a sad tale Gus but clearly you've overcome the problems! wife beating of course was years ago common within the Irish community but eradicated now thank goodness.

anyway i'm voting Labour i considered the Greens but their no hopers and of course Labour are merely the lesser of the 2 evils #-o but my conscience is clear i will do all within my power to influence Labour through the Labour representation Committee to adopt and pursue SOCIALIST policy's =D> =D> and have done so for 35+ years :D

your lack of years is showing its worse now than since the 1940#s but the question now is .........is the level of poverty hardship suffering acceptable ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,in my opinion NO ......................just one example 1500 pensioners froze to death in the last winter ....................how many starved has not been established .......but undoubtedly many DID.................................and thats a fu==ing unacceptable disgrace in any civilised society

THE ONLY TO STOP IT IS VIA THE BALLOT BOX OR BY VIOLENCE .....................DOING NOTHING ONLY ENSURES IT WILL CONTINUE ......IE ABSTAINING .........SITTING ON YER ARSE #-o #-o #-o #-o AS CC ADVOCATES #-o #-o

The other side of the coin is that by continuing to support the present electoral system - then the problems go on and on as they have for decades. The system that we have is clearly not working, clearly demonstrated by masses of the population not bothering, and the political parties attempting to drop the voting age in order to boost numbers of a failed electoral process . It is not going to happen, but if everyone abstained then........the situation would change overnight.

The only reason I voted last time was for tactical reasons, not for the party that I wanted in - it was because of the party that I did not want in.

Make no mistake this Labour party are still having its strings pulled by the war criminal and the worst chancellor ever - any connection to those two, and it is not even a consideration.

I think we'll agree to disagree

The election will provide two possible outcomes - either the rich tories win or the rich labour party win - either is likely to be propped up by another equally morally corrupt party of equal f*ckwits who have no true conception of my life or anybody else's, and if you believe any of them actually give a tuppenny t*ss about anyone except themselves then you need help.

Again we go back to the right to vote - we vote when they allow us to - and if somebody can take away that right then it isn't actually a right - its something they permit or allow.

No election will actually change anything because all politicians are the lapdogs of banks, big business and the super rich that actually own us and this country.

We went to war in Iraq for oil, for money - the charade was a dossier of lies specifically designed to fool us into believing that Saddam Hussein could launch chemical attacks on the UK within minutes. Who profited from that war, it certainly wasn't the people of Iraq - it was banks, big business and the super rich. And 1 million people marched against that war in London - so if you tell me protesting does anything, or voting changes anything then again the facts of the matter seem to be different.

We launched air strikes and cruise missiles in Libya - not for the people but for the oil and to protect the interests of business.

Nobody dares question why places in Yorkshire and Lancashire are producing UK born Islamist terrorists - authorities turned a blind eye in Rotherham because they were scared of being called racist.

And you seriously want me to vote?

Vote or destroy your ballot paper indeed and just maybe advocate some policy's critiscism is easy ....................creating somewhat more difficult

in effect what is the solution ........abstaining merely enables the the corruption to continue .....................mind if the entire population abstained and took to the streets on an agreed agenda ..............................you'd get me interested .............. =D> =D>
