this is where you are correct my friend - any app is only as good as the driver - the trade needs to come up with something - sadly there are too many dual interests - which is the friction point where those outside of the trade can , will and do exploit.

As far as booking a cab, how far can technology really go? I can book a cab with two taps or by voice already :wink:

and 10 years ago you were watching video cassettes, getting into a vehicle with a radio and cassette player - you cannot predict technology - and the cab trade has always been the one to grasp it - good point though :wink:

New Yorks answer to the threat is a need for more Co-operatives and a City owned App, Edinburgh is well placed :wink: Leading the way, both Co-Ops operate the Cordic App as does ECPH, Edinburgh will be tough to crack, other cities may though fall much quicker if they don't act :wink:
