TBH I wouldn't trust any of those debating with our defense. The SNP bloke is right, we have had incursions into UK waters by Russians yet we wont have the necessary defences.

The Government told the fishing trawlers to keep an eye on them, anyhow they came into Scottish Waters 30 miles off the coast of Scotland, at least the Scottish reckon it's their waters.

at the rate we're going we wont even have fishing trawlers to tactically deploy

Which government destroyed our regimental system?

It was the envy of the world - yet it has been all but destroyed ffs

The Tories started it in the early 90's and again a couple of years ago. I'm pretty sure Labour had a go in between.

But don't worry, we have nuclear subs. :badgrin:

Not much use in a knifefight are they.

personally I like nuclear subs

however, I like the regimental system far more - and a decent navy

We should have a standing army of around 200,000 - and a navy with 2 battlegroups - US style

and airbases in Scotland to defend the north ffs

these people are true mongs
