Not that fechin much, Let's try an experiment based on that idea, We'll stop all the Foreign aid and then wait to see how much poorer we in the UK will be due to the lack of Saccharin induced trade.

My bet it is we'll be quids in and not quids out as those with the buying power hardly need our charity.

I'll bet your right but a few companies with Tory MPs as directors will become very unprofitable

Not just Tory, be a few MP's of all persuasions who'll be reaping the rewards of our enforced generosity.

Of course it is, as they say "there is no such thing as a free lunch". All part of the world of political skulduggery, besides the highly likely fact that they might want somewhere to hide one day

But when one such leader of a country that gets aid buys a £100 million personal jet?

I understand that.

But that dictator will get that plane no matter what.

We spend about 0.5% of our GDP on overseas aid, so if it saves lives of people who have nothing but despair, then personally that's a price I'm prepared to pay.

We spend 0.5% GDP and they still have despair....might as well save our money because they'll just save it and buy tickets and come over here.

Why are you amazed ? Slavery comes in many different forms.........ours comes under zero hour contracts and a differing National minimum wage structure.
