I notice the millionaire has told people outside of Scotland to vote labour - the Scottish know what to do - apparently he doesn't have the same views about the Welsh, Irish or English

Russell Brand admits he 'f****d up the election' for Ed Miliband and Labour

RUSSELL BRAND has said he 'f****d up the election' for Labour by inviting Ed Miliband to his house for an interview.

The outspoken comedian and self-appointed political commentator was discussing resignation speeches given by leaders following last week's General Election.

And mimicking Mr Miliband's voice, the 39-year-old, said: "Thank you Russell Brand for f****** up the election by getting me to come round your house."

It's the first time Mr Brand has admitted he had a negative impact on the Labour campaign after urging fans to vote for Mr Miliband.

The anti-establishment thinker had previously revealed following the election he 'couldn't influence the outcome of the election'.

In his latest YouTube video, released today, Mr Brand sits in a van accessing the party leaders' speeches in the wake of the election results.

Regarding the former Labour leader's televised resignation, he also adds: "He looks genuinely relieved. It's not fair. It's a really unpleasant world.

"The whole thing becomes about artifice and nonsense."

He calls former Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg - who he said he has also met - "a nice chap".

"This is the orgasm of the latent grief he has been feeling for half a decade," said Mr Brand regarding Mr Clegg's speech.

The film star, who was accused of hypocrisy after saying people should not vote and then backing Mr Miliband, also launched an attack on Prime Minister David Cameron in the video.

"Everything David Cameron says if it were true would be incredible," said Mr Brand.

"He talks about looking after children, people working hard becoming successful, making his country work for everyone in it, but we all accept it's b*******.

"We all just accept someone wins an election, stands outside Number 10 and say all this b******… Nothing will change, Nothing can change… the winner continues with the facade."

Mr Brand invited Mr Miliband to his house on the eve of the election and questioned him on policy.

The comedian ended the video by endorsing Labour, saying: "What I heard Ed Miliband say is if we speak, he will listen. So on that basis, I think we've got no choice but to take decisive action."

He concluded by saying "you gotta vote Labour".

The former Labour leader headed to Ibiza following the spectacular election loss.

He jetted off to the party island with his wife Justine to "get away from it all", according to party sources.
