Thank you everyone.
The final tally for the Council is Conservative 26 seats and independent 2 seats. One of the independents is in my ward and she only beat the other Conservative candidate by 18 votes. You can't quite see me in the picture because I am obscured by another persons arm but there is a picture to the right showing me and the independent candidate seperatly because our ward was the first to be declared.

Will you have to declare an interest at Licensing meetings?

If I am on a committee which discusses taxi licensing issues then yes, I will have to declare an interest and I wont be able to vote on such issues. However, there is a weekly meeting of the Conservative group where I will be able to speak freely about any taxi licensing matters and this is where I will be able to try and influence the rest of the committee members.

Some talk the talk but you're walking the walk!

All the best to you.
