I suppose it depends on your definition of what was promised. The "vow" has been re-interpreted, diluted and linked to EVEL since it was made in a desperate rush back in September.
Also we have to rely on the honesty and integrity of a bunch of Tory slimeballs who only last week were telling all and sundry that we were something less than their idea of British because we wouldn't vote the way they wanted.
