We seem to be missing a comment or two from someone on the results. He normally has plenty to say on the political pages.

Probably drowning his sorrows

Too much to hope he may have actually drowned? Or maybe he was protesting on Whitehall.

I cant say I'm surprised by the results north of the border - I recall suggesting something similar after the indy ref

It is quite amusing all of the political parties south of the border asking themselves questions over Scotland tho - they still don't get it.

When you have almost 50% voting for independence under a year ago - and 4 parties pro union on around with 50%, all your going to get is a solid SNP vote of 50% with the other pro unionist 50% divided between the 4 parties.

Its almost as if the pro union parties never had pizza ffs

As for UNITE the union demanding the resignation of the Scottish Labour leader - they were instrumental in getting Ed Miliband as national leader - and look how that worked out.

Andy Burnham would be a disaster. You'd be better trying to poach Nicola Sturgeon :D

Labour will get another South of England friendly Red Tory. They won't learn anything from this defeat.

I agree Gusmac. They've already tried to blame the Scots for having the cheek to vote for SNP!

Labours mantra needs to change. This caring for the less fortunate in society they bang on about is total bullsh*t.
