Hi
I'm new to the site and looking for any help and guidance that may be available for our project.

We now own a 1994 Fairway Driver Plus and for a charity run next year through Europe we are planning to change the Engine, Gearbox, Back Axle and Running Gear to that of a Jaguar X300 4.0 litre.

Does anyone know if this as been successfully completed?

I know a company transplanted a V8 but can't find any information on what they did with the running gear or back axle.

Is there anyway I can get a Body Manual for this Taxi? - I've already got the workshop manuals but they show very little about the body and chassis. We need to know how difficult it is to remove the body.

The reason for changing the back axle is because of the increase in power to 230 BHP

The reason for changing the running gear is two fold, firstly to increase the braking efficiency and secondly so that we can fit alloy wheels and wider tyres.

The finished taxi has to look standard apart from the alloy wheels.

Any help or advice will greatly appreciated.

Thank you for reading.
